Way more invested in the lives of fictional characters--namely, Dana Scully, Bucky Barnes, Ronan Lynch--than my own, which is unfortunate. Queer. Southern ex-pat. Feminist. Pie lover.
Thank God someone who knows about the profession finally called out her on her ABYSMAL BEHAVIOUR.
I could’ve only talked as a ptsd and multiple trauma survivor, and I could’ve only said that, being tough and broad-shouldered against EVERYTHING, I personally ate alive the two therapists they forced me under.
There’s not much to add. Marvel has always been horrible at dealing with Bucky’s character. When the show started and my dash was flooded of gifsets from those scenes with the therapist and whatnot it just cementified my decision to never watch the show because that stuff is a trigger for me. People of my dash were like ‘oh she’s good for him because she’s not taking his shit!!’…? Also he’s forced to go to that therapist? I’m glad for people if they’ve never had a therapist who traumatized them but that shit messes up with your head.
The way the creators constantly blame Bucky for his own abuse is exhausting, exhausting, we touched the bottom with the fruit salad and we keep digging, why not making a whole series about it, doesn’t it seem like a great idea
Starfleet @ Leonard McCoy: Could you please just stop violating the Prime Directive for humanitarian reasons, just for a second
Leonard McCoy:
Leonard Horatio McCoy is a doctor first, a good southern boy who respects women and loves his momma second, and a starfleet officer third. If he sees meemaw in the hospital on dialysis, then by god, he’s going to grow her a new kidney.
This is probably my favourite McCoy moment ever :’)
